automotive photography in east texas. engineered presence.

Bluejacket Creative provides cinematic automotive photography across East Texas from its base in Mineola, near Tyler. Creative Director James Stanley photographs vehicles, builds, and automotive products for dealerships, aftermarket brands, shops, and private owners, drawing on dealer group marketing experience and work connected to brands such as Borla, Hoonigan, HRE Wheels, and SEMA.

anyone can photograph a car. few can make you feel it.

A great automotive photograph does more than show a vehicle. It shows the line of the body under the right light, the stance, the detail in a wheel finish, the attitude of the build. That is what sells a car, earns a feature, or makes an owner frame the print.

Bluejacket Creative brings that standard to East Texas. Based in Mineola, the studio photographs vehicles, builds, and automotive products for clients from Tyler and Longview to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

automotive is home turf

James Stanley, Bluejacket's Creative Director, followed a Creative Consultant, Marketing Director, and Art Director path with the Vista Ford of Oxnard / Vista Ford Lincoln group, and has created work connected to automotive and aftermarket names including Borla, Hoonigan, HRE Wheels, and SEMA. He knows what a dealer needs from inventory photos, what an aftermarket brand needs for a product launch, and what an enthusiast wants from a feature shoot.

services

build and feature shoots

Custom builds, restorations, trucks, off-road rigs, classics, and performance cars. Location scouting around East Texas, golden hour and night sessions, rolling shots when safe and practical, and detailed close-ups of the work that went into the build.

dealership and inventory photography

Consistent, clean inventory imagery and hero shots for showroom, website, and social campaigns. Consistency across hundreds of vehicles is its own discipline, and it shows in how a dealer's lot looks online.

aftermarket product photography

Wheels, exhaust, lighting, accessories, and parts photographed for e-commerce, catalogs, and launch campaigns, on clean backgrounds or installed on the vehicle.

shop and brand storytelling

Detail shops, custom fabricators, wrap shops, and performance shops benefit from images that show the people and process, not only the finished car. Bluejacket has worked with craft-focused businesses such as Yellowjacket Detailing, and knows how much the right imagery helps them stand apart.

motion add-on

Pair a shoot with video production for reels, launch films, and social clips from the same session.

the approach

planning

Every shoot starts with a conversation about the purpose. Website hero, magazine-style feature, social campaign, or ad. The purpose sets the location, time of day, and shot list.

light

Light is everything in automotive photography. Reflective paint punishes bad light and rewards good light. Shoots are scheduled and positioned around it, with supplemental lighting when the job calls for it.

post-production

Careful color, reflection control, and retouching that keeps the car honest. Clean and refined, never fake.

delivery

High-resolution files for print, plus web- and social-sized versions, organized and ready to use.

why Bluejacket

You get a photographer who is also a designer and art director. Images are composed with your layouts, ads, and website in mind, leaving room for type and fitting the formats you actually publish. James's training started with a BFA from Brooks Institute, a school known for photography and visual storytelling, and continued through more than ten years as a U.S. Navy Mass Communication Specialist.

what to bring to a shoot

A clean vehicle makes the biggest difference, so plan a wash or detail the day before. Bring any spec sheet or build list so details like wheels, exhaust, and paint can be featured accurately. If the photos are for a brand or dealer, share your logo, style guide, and where the images will be used, so compositions leave room for headlines and fit every format from a website banner to a vertical story.

where we shoot

Mineola, Tyler, Lindale, Quitman, Longview, Canton, and locations across East Texas, with travel available for DFW and beyond. Country roads, pine forests, lake shores, and small-town main streets make East Texas an underrated backdrop for automotive work.
