Honey Creek Farm
Honey Creek Farm is a small, female, veteran-owned operation in East Texas that treats poultry with a level of respect usually reserved for classic literature. The owner’s favorite rooster is basically a local celebrity, so the brand needed to honor that daily presence while still looking clean, country, and rooted in a sense of long-standing heritage.
The identity I created feels like it has history behind it, the kind you expect from a farm that has been doing things the right way for a long time. The iconography features that prized rooster front and center and gives the entire look a sense of pride and place. It stays tidy and modern where it should, but still carries the texture of country life without drifting into kitsch.
The result is a brand that feels authentic, confident, and unmistakably tied to the personality of the farm itself.
Since Honey Creek Farm is local, I had the rare luxury of grabbing my own camera and heading out there myself. No stock photos pretending to be “rustic” or “authentic.” Just real birds, real textures, real sunlight, and the actual rooster who thinks he runs the place. I also learned that her goat has zero interest in being left out of anything and fully insisted on getting his picture taken. Using my own photography let the website lean into the farm’s personality without faking a thing. The images set the tone for the entire experience and kept everything grounded in the honest day-to-day life of the operation.
